The Second Safari: Back in the Bushveld, April 2018. For at least 25 years I’ve longed to hunt Cape Buffalo, and for at least the past seven of those years I’ve longed to return to the northern Limpopo region of the beautiful Republic of South Africa, to hear the sonorous Afrikaans and Northern Sotho spoken all around me until I would start hearing it in my dreams, and to pad across that brilliant, orange, sandy soil through mopane brush and thorn scrub. I missed the Boer and Sotho friends I’d made, who are among my favorite peoples .... Sean Smith

Dear AAA Team,
First and foremost I would like to thank Hanno and his entire team for an experience of a life time. It started with a timely pick up from the airport and a quick drive into the bush which was to be our home for the next 10 days. I give the accommodations an A+ from the oversized Jacuzzi bath to the comfortable sleeping arrangements and on to the beautifully designed dinning area where you sit in the open with the view of Africa and its wildlife. As for the food it was as good as it gets. Bar none some of the best prepared game meat i have ever eaten and at three squares a day you will not leave hungry. Now to talk about why we were there..... the hunt. Speaking on behalf of Bow-hunters the ground blinds were spacious, quite and built and set correctly with the wind. Another A+. Every animal seen either sitting in a blind, driving or while on a spot and stalk appear to be both physically healthy and truly aware and cautious as fair chance wild animals should be with proper game management and conservation . The quality of the trophies we’re unparalleled to none. If you are patient as a hunter should be your opportunity for a gold medal quality animal is definitely here with AAA outfitters. The PH’s were top notch, safe, observant and knowledgeable of the game there habits and behavior. There was no lack of positive coaching and good conversation. (I will request the same PH’s on my return trip) They are truly professional hunters. From the house keepers to the skinner and trackers my Authentic African Adventure was everything promised with no surprises or questions not answered prior to my arrival. I give Hanno and his team an AAA+ and have and will continue to recommend them to all who want to experience hunting in Africa. I would also like to thank the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation for this opportunity as well. Thank you Hanno!
Kind Regards,
Mike M
